The Challenge

The Project Manager within Adobe Consulting is working directly with our customers and system integration partners to initiate and lead their digital marketing and transformation projects using the Adobe Experience Cloud.

Working at multiple levels with the customer, you will evaluate the proposed solution, assess risks, confirm requirements, manage scope, and work on resource requirements to build the delivery plan. You will coordinate and lead all aspects of delivery from project initiation through planning, implementation and testing to closing.

You will help the customer to utilise the benefits of the Adobe Experience Cloud to their maximum advantage by understanding their business challenges and helping them build innovative solutions with measureable return on investment.

What you’ll do

  • Lead distributed teams in project prioritisation activities to identify, collect and analyse requirements, define key business drivers and deliver an effective and innovative solution.
  • Strong sense of accountability and management of projects from end-to-end: Effort estimation, scope management, planning, monitoring and reporting of project execution (risks management, budget, timeline, etc).
  • Help customers to succeed in their digital transformation by providing mentorship, industry leading practices and advice on Adobe Marketing Cloud benefits
  • Active participation in improving and refining our best practise methodologies.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong foundational project management skills and experience, delivering large enterprise solutions for a software vendor, or mixed vendor / customer background
  • Shown experience with and technical insights into how large and complex Digital Marketing projects are setup and delivered. We don't expect you to have the technical skills to setup the platform, but you need to know the phases required
  • Ability to handle large single projects or multiple concurrent smaller projects
  • Outstanding problem-solver and skills in risk management and prioritisation.
  • First class communication (verbal, written and presentation) to Executive level within an organisation in Japanese.
  • Experience in applying agile methodologies in project delivery
  • A professional project management qualification, e.g. PMI is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Ability to work with virtual internal teams across geographies and time zones
