Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Proficiently manage the complexities associated with large, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, and communicate effectively with executive-level staff.
- Serve as the “face” of assigned programs and projects, interacting with executive leadership to communicate results, status, risks/issues and mitigation strategies.
- Concurrently manage multiple projects that are at various stages in the project life cycle.
- Monitor progress of each assigned program/project against the overall plan and act with urgency to notify leadership of any issues that require resolution.
- Understand the broader business environment, organizational strategy and factor this understanding into customer reviews and finalization of program/project findings and recommendations.
- Coach members to utilize change management and customer acceptance strategies as needed
- Assess, recommend and promote approaches for applying project management methodologies and technologies to large scale programs/projects.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) reviews of all program/project deliverables and analyses.
- Work with sales to drive opportunities discovered throughout the engagement with assigned customers.
- Create, maintain, and route formal project documentation to project teams and key stakeholders, within a timely manner by developing standard process and documentations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Combined 3+ years of successful system delivery, customer support or project management experience
- Strong customer advocate with focus on meeting scheduled dates and customer expectations
- Project Management skills (Advanced PM level)
- Open mindset to respectfully considering diverse viewpoints and trying new thinking styles
- Interpersonal skills to engage mutually beneficial dialogues with clients and colleagues alike
- Capability of clear and concise written and verbal communication in both Japanese and English
- Strongly compliance driven
- Willingness and ability to travel (domestic and international)
Desired Characteristics / Preferred Qualifications:
- Active certification in PMP (Project Management Professional), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) or other relevant customer-engaging IT service delivery frameworks, or equivalent proven capability
- Successful experience in IT/network engineering, customer service, application support, or operation management consulting
- Experience in healthcare industry with relevant domain knowledge
