The Role:
Dun and Bradstreet’s International Technology Group requires a high performing Senior Manager, operating with the Project Management Office (PMO).
This role will be a central driving force in creating a high performing team to drive efficient management and financial reporting for smooth operations of the International Technology group. You will be involved in a variety of essential tasks such as supplier contracts, internal budgets and many reporting operations. You will work closely with engineering leads and global functions to ensure the smooth operations of the PMO office.
Finding ways to improve processes and generally improve governance models will also be a core part of this role. The role will encompasses a variety of tasks not solely within a the classic PMO remit. You will need to have an adaptable mindset as you will be asked to manage smaller projects within the group, frequently with a global reach.
Responsibilities:
- Governing Portfolio Metrics - financial, resource, delivery reporting
- Managing projects within the Project Management tool and Jira
- Support Procurement and Third Party Review teams with new contracts and contract renewals
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and analysis
- Manage the communication and escalation among cross-functional groups
- Work closely and efficiently with the development team leaders to complete requirements
- Effectively communicate requirements in written and verbal forms to both technical and non-technical personnel
- Troubleshoot issues associated with the portfolio governance and coordinate the escalation of issues
- Provide ongoing support and communication between stakeholders and technology teams
- Ensure that issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant business related discipline
- 5+ years of project management experience (startup or consulting preferred)
- Strong experience in Financial reporting and production of Management reporting packs.
- Highly numerate and proficient in Excel, JIRA, Power Point.
- Any experience in Full product lifecycle experience (requirements, design, implementation, deployment), preferably in the technology industry
- Experience working in an Agile environment, managing projects across multiple teams
- Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to work efficiently with multiple business product owners and stakeholders
- Ability to manage a wide range of projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience communicating with the Director, VP and Executive-level management during project development, priority setting, status and budget reporting
