JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager - Operations is responsible for aligning departmental functions across the organization to support DuBois leadership in realizing strategic priorities and generating greater stakeholder value, particularly in our integrated supply chain function. This is a position with great growth potential in the business, which requires operating in strategic, consultative, and hands-on capacities while helping to drive continuous results.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, organize, and lead cross-functional projects through dynamic, hands-on leadership. Work closely with supply chain, commercial, integration team, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assess existing operational processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement. Streamline operations, eliminate redundancies, and optimize processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and assess potential risks and challenges associated with the project management process. Develop risk mitigation plans and contingency measures to minimize disruptions to operations, quality, safety, and compliance.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the progress and success of each project. Analyze data, generate reports, and provide regular updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas requiring attention.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices, sharing lessons learned, and implementing feedback loops. Identify opportunities for innovation, cost optimization, and increased customer satisfaction.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners, to ensure their needs and expectations are met during the project management process. Build strong relationships and manage expectations to foster collaboration.
- Key projects include but are not limited to manufacturing rationalization, where-make streamlining, and excess & obsolete inventory disposition.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years of experience supporting a Project Management Office.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite of tools, especially Excel.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities, manage deadlines, exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal clients.
- Detail oriented, with strong project management skills, and ability to coordinate many record keeping activities.
- Proactive, self-starter with a strong work ethic who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work in a demanding environment, handling a high workload
- Demonstrate superior customer relationship management skills.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communications skills.
- Manage confidential information.
- Effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Exercise mature independent judgment.
- Available to travel to DuBois sites across the globe (~10%)
EDUCATION REQUREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- PMP desired but not required
