Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for the client and all internal departments involved in the Data and Fortellis implementation process. The SPM has primary responsibility and accountability for the project management and delivery of a successful implementation for any assigned projects.
The Senior Project Manager owns every aspect of the customers engagement from the time of contract roll call through onboarding, certification, and deployment. This position is responsible for interfacing with multiple internal and external groups to ensure that all stakeholders of the team are kept apprised of the status and that project dependencies are documented, coordinated, and aligned for success. While this position will not carry any direct reports, the successful candidate must be able to lead teams in matrixed environment. The SPM will be working with multiple areas of Data & Fortellis including but not limited to Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Care.
Responsibilities

Manage CDK, and customer resources and track project deliverables.

Maintains singular accountabilities for all aspects of the implementation process by holding all project resources accountable to the completion of tasks and meeting the project milestone dates.

Develop and define the statement of work (SOW) requirements by interfacing with the customers and various CDK business units.

Work with Customer to understand their readiness and timing to engage on the delivery of the contracted offering.

Develop and manage multiple project plans that effectively meet the time/schedule, budget and resource requirements/constraints.

Utilize organizational skills and detail to manage multiple projects adhering to project budgets, schedules, and resource requirements.

Utilize project management tools to monitor tasks, milestones, and resources, ensuring seamless project execution from initiation to completion.

Develop implementation Project Plan to include project scope, resource requirements, key milestones, risk mitigation plan and installation success criteria.

Utilize effective management, negotiation, and influencing skills both internally and externally to ensure a successful implementation of all products and services within scope.

Provide status updates, tracks open issues, and works with all CDK groups to resolution as required.

Develop, track, and report key implementation progress metrics

Act as primary implementation point of contact and escalation point for project stakeholders including all functional CDK departments, Clients, and Third-Party Suppliers.

Develop and communicate project status reports, which include open issues, risks, budget, resource and schedule details.

Ensure Client satisfaction through follow-up, client responsiveness and thorough communication

Establish and maintain an effective level of communication with all stakeholders.

Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers.

Assist in developing Business Partner relationships and deployment processes.

Assist with client presentations and discussions on an as needed basis.

Maintain a thorough understanding of CDK OEM and Enterprise Dealer offerings, processes.

Work with CDK Billing and Finance to ensure contracted items fulfill customer needs and initiate billing upon completion of contracted services.
Qualifications

Experience with planning and executing customer-facing implementation or product delivery projects

Demonstrated influence and leadership ability in a matrixed environment

Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and balancing competing priorities.

Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills

Ability to effectively handle critical client situations and work with the appropriate resources or Management at the organization to troubleshoot the most difficult problems.

Ability to consult and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments

Ability to handle increasingly high volume of work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment in a calm manner

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal/communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
-
Automotive dealership experience preferred
-
Knowledge of CDK products, processes, and customer needs preferred.

PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, Certinia, Aha, Salesforce are preferred.
Salary Range: $81,500 - $100,000
CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
