As the Senior Project Manager, Brand, you will be responsible for managing Brand projects from brief through to delivery. You will work with the Senior Manager, Brand Operations and your project management/operations partners to leverage and manage the internal and external resources you need to get the right work done on time, to standard, and on budget. Your knowledge of project management and the creative process, combined with your strategic thinking, strong partnership, and communication skills, will empower you to manage an efficient end to end process.

 

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

 

Meet Your Future Team:


You will work as part of the Brand Operations team – a collaborative group of Project Managers, Producers and Operators responsible for defining and evolving process and leading creative teams to the successful delivery of campaigns and projects. You will work in close partnership with all levels of the Brand Management teams and with cross functional partners as required. 

If you were the Senior Project Manager, Brand now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Engaging relevant partners at the right time(s) to ensure full awareness of projects and to incorporate their perspectives
  • Building and maintaining solid relationships with key partners at all levels across the organization
  • Maintaining a clear prioritized list of projects, milestones, and action items through ensuring all partners know and understand their role/responsibility, contribution, related timelines, and dependencies
  • Facilitating mutual and shared understanding between creative development, project owners, and leadership
  • Managing your project team and partners from initial briefing through an iterative creative process to on-time delivery
  • Working closely with project managers on the Brand Operations team to ensure that projects delivering into a season are delivered on time, to scope and with the resources needed, and in determining creative services team day-to-day priorities which managing obstacles and escalate as required
  • Closely aligning with internal clients to provide project service excellence, set expectations on day-to-day workflow, and gain visibility into potential campaigns for resource forecasts
  • Proactively engaging with other teams and/or departments to learn about processes and/or workflows that may lack understanding in an effort to streamline and improve project delivery

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Supporting the Senior Manager, Brand Operations in the evolution of Brand PMO processes, project plans, templates, and folder structures necessary to support ongoing project management excellence
  • Championing standardized templates in Brand and with other key partners as necessary
  • Leading and developing a high-performing team of project managers to maximize productivity, efficiency, consistency and effectiveness of our processes

Are you our next Senior Project Manager, Brand?

  • You have a bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in project management and 5+ years of Marketing Project Management experience
  • You have excellent ability to influence without direct control
  • You ideally have agency experience and must be comfortable working with creative personalities
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills
  • You have advanced experience using project management platforms and tools (Smartsheet, Monday.com or similar)
  • You have a relentless attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines
  • You have experience developing and producing print communications
  • You have strong skills in workflow organization and efficiency
  • You have excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • You have a positive, can-do attitude with an ability to inspire and lead a project team of varied roles/responsibilities
  • You have the ability to plan and oversee work schedules and calendars across various production resources
  • You have knowledge of graphic, video, and digital communications production
  • You have the ability to work unsupervised and self-directed
  • You ideally have experience within an international apparel and gear organization and managing digital design and UX projects
  • You have a strong knowledge of Arc’teryx products and Interest and involvement in activities that Arc’teryx makes products for (climbing, skiing/boarding, trekking and/or outdoor activities)
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
