As a Senior Project Mechanical Engineer, you will be the go-to expert for tackling tough technical challenges and managing significant engineering projects that keep our generation fleet running smoothly.

What you'll do:

  • Provide technical support for operation and maintenance of power generation facilities.
  • Lead intermediate to large-scale engineering projects with precision and expertise.
  • Conduct investigations and provide critical analysis on complex mechanical systems.
  • Oversee repair programs, pressure vessel inspections, and ensure compliance at coal plant facilities.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry advancements and integrate innovative solutions into operations.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5 to 12 years of professional engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (and commitment to maintain if acquired).
  • Expertise in mechanical systems and industrial power generation equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with the AECI cooperative network and generation/transmission cooperatives.
