Senior Project Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Serves as a project lead to manage basic projects and define scope for the project with support.
• Coordinates Innovation & Technology activities globally and instructions to lab staff and team members, reviewing of status and progress to keep project completion dates.
• Studies and understands testing, automation and digitization technology and standards for scope of responsibility with assistance.
• Supports the Innovation & Technology team with coordination and administrative tasks
• Finds solutions for any issues that arise whilst testing in the laboratory and Innovation & Technology team
• Takes the lead on any project status communications technical issues, test standard explanations, certification requirements and UL procedures and requirements.
• Works with the team to resolve any customer issues.
• Supports project managers determining project specifications, such as cost, time and requirements for internal partnes and areas of responsibility that are assigned.
• Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques specifically for project process and document management.
• Travel may be possible to attend Workshop or support local implementations or at other UL locations, as well as attend industry related events.
• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
• Performs other duties as directed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management & Project Coordination

• Manage own small projects for the Innovation & Technology Team
• Coordinate and follow up global Project Portfolio of Innovation & Technology Team
• Support project status reporting and documentation
• Change-Management, prepare training materials, training videos and conduct trainings
• Support requirements engineering, business analysis and demand intake

Automation and Data Engineering

• Support Data Science and other Data Engineers with building Data Pipelines, Data Cleansing. Migration using Python, SQL, and other tools e.g. Informatica
• Develop Workflow automations using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Automate Desktop and MS SharePoint
• Maintain Automation Solution Portfolio Cataloge

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field plus generally 6 years of directly related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently identify needs for projects or programs, formulate objectives, plan and execute projects and/or programs, and manage programs.
• Experience in the TIC Industry, ISO / IEC 17025 accredited laboratory environment is preferred but not required
• Experience in relevant technologies like (Robotic Process Automation, Workflow Automation, Data Processing and transformation e.g. power queries, Python and basic data base understanding (SQL, Access) is preferred
• Strong communication skills verbally and written in English are required as well as experience to work in an international environment
