We power nearly a billion conversational interactions every month, providing a uniquely rich data set and safety tools to unlock the power of Conversational AI for better customer experiences.

This means spotting opportunities, solving ambiguities, and seeking effective solutions to the problems our customers care about.

Overview:

In this role, you will be part of an elite group of Technical Program Managers driving large-scale strategic initiatives across LivePerson's Global Product and Technology Unit. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be at the forefront of transforming how products are developed, ensuring that teams adhere to a structured journey across functionality, stability, security, operational excellence, and GTM readiness. You will collaborate closely with senior management, product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams, fostering accountability and alignment in execution. The ideal candidate is self-directed, capable of leading large-scale initiatives in ambiguous environments, and excels at defining deliverables, shaping outcomes, and driving teams toward successful execution. This role requires the ability to operate in a fast-paced, iterative environment that emphasizes agility and impact over rigid processes. You will be responsible for the end-to-end program lifecycle, ensuring alignment, visibility, and execution across multiple teams, while providing direct insights to senior leadership through regular reporting. Your ability to navigate ambiguity, manage complexity, and drive operational efficiency will be key to the success of this initiative. We are looking for a smart individual who wants to do more than just manage, but also shape and innovate!

In this role, you will have the opportunity to (your tasks):

  • Manage a large-scale program for critical business initiatives (5-10+ vertical tracks, 3rd party vendors).
  • Interact with internal, external and executive stakeholders often requiring political sensitivity.
  • Project consists of multiple new technologies with many tiers and may require large scale organizational changes (e.g. site redesigns or migrations to new platforms)
  • Processes in-depth technical knowledge of architecture, infrastructure needs, and component design and downstream effects of subsequent changes across vertical tracks
  • Responsible for creating and consolidating program timeline and communicating overall program health in a way that all levels of the organization can consume.
  • Responsible for ensuring each vertical team understands the overall project objectives and timeline, and how their deliverables impact the overall program.
  • Presents issues and risks formally to leadership and vertical tracks.
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional peers and senior leaders/stakeholders to program issues and drive mitigation plans.
  • Creates and leads new and/or modified PMO processes and provides solutions to complex pain points within the organization. Challenges organizational processes that do not contribute to value delivery, and illustrates better process alternatives.
  • Evangelizes the principals and business value of those practices throughout the organization.
  • Actively participates in and contributes to the continuous improvement and evolution of processes, methodologies, and tools within the organization.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact, negotiate, and influence decisions across multiple tracks and executive leadership.
  • Establishes and implements processes which foster team collaboration, the exchange of diverse ideas and transparency at the organizational level.

Here are some of the things you'll bring (requirements):

  • Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years full lifecycle project management experience.
  • Proven expertise in driving complex, multi-year programs that involve multiple teams, dependencies, and evolving priorities.
  • Experience in aligning product, engineering, and GTM teams toward a common execution framework.
  • Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, or similar methodologies for managing large-scale technical programs.
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Certified Scrum Master preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal presentation and organizational skills, ability to interface with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong business acumen supporting business operations in technology companies and/or retail.

  • Strong solution analysis experience in a global environment with distributed teams.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset, able to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in complex environments.
