Innophase IOT is seeking an innovative engineer for WiFi products test software development (develop debug tools and GUI, develop device and equipment drivers for debug and test, and develop test automation). The Right candidate should be a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills, with curiosity and strive to adept and success in a fast-changing development environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, development, and execute test software solutions for WiFi SOC and Radio debug and automated test solution for IOT market.
- Ensure high quality test software and debug tools that serves the development teams communication.
- Collaborating with system, design, software/firmware, and test team
- Develop clear and concise test cases and test documentation
- Develop scripting and object-oriented programming to ensure test cases executed flawlessly, with automation, and maximize efficiency and reuse.
- Development necessary debug and test infrastructure for new designs, such as communication GUI, debug tool with various interfaces
- Strong team player in a multi-function, multi-location team, independent driving project and progress.
Key Skills
- Expert in Python, C, C++ programming languages
- Strong software experience for test automation development of Wifi products and radio performance testing.
- Working experience with common WiFI and radio test equipment for software driver and automation development (Spectrum analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope, litepoint).
- Working knowledge of WiFi connectivity standards 802.11 and BT/BLE. Familiar with radio parameters such as sensitivity, channel power, EVM, SEM, and test methodologies.
- Experience with GIThub for continuous development and integration of software in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills and documentation skills
Qualifications
- BS/MS in electric engineering, computer engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of software development for testing and automation with python and c, c++
- Prior experience in wifi and radio software development a plus
