We are seeking a motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, particularly in healthcare software, and a passion for driving the development of innovative solutions. You will play a key role in a transformative project aimed at rewriting our existing Hospital Information System (HIS) from a monolithic architecture to a microservices-oriented architecture.
Project Overview:
This project focuses on transitioning our Hospital Information System to a microservices architecture to improve scalability, maintainability, and performance. As the Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining the roadmap, prioritization, and ensuring that the development team delivers high-quality solutions that meet the needs of healthcare providers and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the product roadmap for the new microservices-based Hospital Information System.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, and management
- Prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the most valuable features are delivered first.
- Work closely with the development team to clarify requirements and provide guidance throughout the development process.
- Monitor project progress and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to achieve project goals.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team to ensure alignment and transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, preferably in the healthcare software industry.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and software development processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hospital information systems or healthcare technology.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software.
