Job Description
Applications Management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively.
We are seeking an experienced Application Management Engineer to join the Business-As-Usual (BAU) team for one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incidents (P1-P4), overseeing non-functional changes (P5), problem and release management.
The BAU team supports around 130 applications, handling approximately 180 tickets monthly, and provides on-call services and weekend maintenance activities.
Qualifications
5+ years in a similar support position, with hands-on experience in:
Must have:
- Strong proficiency in .NET Framework, Core, and front-end technologies (React JS, Angular)
- Experience with version control systems (Git / TFS)
- Expertise in Microsoft Server 2012r2 and 2016, including IIS, scheduled jobs, and performance monitoring
- Proficiency in SQL Server and related services (SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server Agent)
- Azure knowledge, including Functions Apps, AppServices, and related tools
- Advanced T-SQL skills
- Familiarity with various IDEs (Visual Studio, Report Builder, SQL Server Management Studio)
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools (Azure Pipelines, Powershell, yaml, Bash)
Nice to have:
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and 2016
