Manulife is seeking a Product Owner with experience in Customer Data Platforms (CDP) to join our team. In this role, you will lead the planning and delivery of CDP implementations, collaborating closely with data engineers and business analysts. You will report to the Director of Data Activation & Segmentation and the Director of Global Performance Marketing Shared Service, contributing to the enhancement of our digital marketing capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business, marketing, and program management teams to gather and document requirements for CDP implementation use-cases.

  • Work collaboratively with data enablement and engineering teams to analyze and document technical dependencies.

  • Ensure requirements are clearly defined, aligned with business objectives, and communicated effectively to technical teams.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and web data specialists to plan and prioritize the delivery of CDP use-cases and improvements.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to meet project goals on time.

  • Communicate timelines clearly with internal and external teams.

  • Lead the process of logging, prioritizing, and planning change requests for CDP projects.

  • Assess the impact of changes on current processes and systems and work with team members to implement adjustments as needed.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for team members involved in GWAM Canada Retirement CDP projects.

  • Facilitate communication and alignment between business units and technical teams, addressing any issues or concerns.

  • Coordinate with data engineering, web data engineering, and business analysis teams to achieve project goals, fostering a collaborative environment for successful outcomes and effective problem-solving.

What we are looking for

  • 5 or more years of proven experience as in a similar role, particularly working on MarTech implementation projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications or additional training in CDP, digital transformation, or project management are preferred.

  • Experience leading digital transformation projects and handling multi-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDP), preferably Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).

  • Knowledge of offline data integration and Azure Data Lake is highly desirable.

  • Understanding of data engineering and web and app data collection principles.

  • Experience in the financial services industry in Canada is a plus.

Salary range is expected to be between

$94,220.00 CAD - $174,980.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
