 ZoomInfo is looking for a PLG Product Marketing manager to play a crucial role in driving the adoption and expansion of the company's products by leveraging the product itself as the main vehicle for growth.

The Product Marketer will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives around our product, creating and executing marketing strategies that drive user adoption, engagement, and expansion. This role will work closely with the product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure our product's value is effectively communicated to both current and potential users.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, and positioning opportunities

  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop clear and compelling product positioning, value propositions, and messaging that differentiates our product in the market

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches and updates, ensuring alignment across all channels and teams

  • Content Creation: Create high-quality, informative content such as blog posts, case studies, product videos, and website copy that articulates the value of our product to our target audience

  • User Acquisition and Retention: Work closely with the growth and marketing teams to design and implement strategies that attract new users and retain existing ones

  • Product Feedback Loop: Act as a liaison between the product users and the product team, gathering feedback to inform product development and improvement

  • Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with necessary product knowledge and materials, including pitch decks, FAQs, and product demos, to effectively sell the product

  • Performance Measurement: Measure and report on the effectiveness of product marketing activities, adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights

  • A/B Test & Funnel Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize website and app performance, ensuring a seamless user experience. Partner with other teams to test and learn what drives meaningful actions from sign up to purchase

  • Comply with all applicable Company policies and procedures. 

  • Regular and consistent attendance, including in-person attendance where required.

  • Other work as assigned by your manager or leadership.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience

  • Proven experience in product marketing, preferably in a PLG or SaaS environment

  • Strong understanding of the software development and technology landscape

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex product information into simple, compelling messages

  • Experience with market research, segmentation, and positioning

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with teams across the organization

  • Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset

  • Minimum 5 years of experience

  • Proficiency in marketing and analytics tools (Tableau, Amplitude, Salesforce)

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously

  • Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills

Below is the US base salary for this position. Additional compensation such as Bonus, Commission, Equity and other benefits may also apply.
