Convera is seeking a product and industry marketing specialist with a proven track record for driving customer outcomes, aligning marketing strategies with the specific dynamics of target segments, and developing compelling content (brochures, presentations, case studies, webinars, etc.) that effectively communicates the value of Convera’s offerings. 

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into tangible results by   developing and executing targeted multi-channel marketing campaigns across the full funnel to drive awareness, generate interest, and deliver growth.  

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of corporate businesses and understands the unique challenges faced by customers in this space. You bring a customer-first mindset and a passion for crafting compelling stories and campaigns tailored to specific audiences and thrive in a hands-on role, are detail-oriented, and can balance tactical execution with strategic planning. You are proactive, resourceful and excel at working cross-functionally to achieve goals.  

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the competition for your portfolio and how to position solutions based on differentiators 
  • Generate case studies, testimonials, customer videos, and other customer-driven marketing and sales assets for your product or industry portfolio
  • Understand the product roadmap/new feature releases and proactively plan for new launches around your product or industry portfolio
  • Collaborate with the sales teams to develop and execute targeted marketing strategies that align with business goals for various industries within a defined segment.
  • Collaborate with sales enablement on materials that speak directly to the challenges and needs of customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and design teams/ agencies to define and execute event marketing activities 
  • Create comprehensive marketing plans that encompass a mix of digital, traditional, and emerging marketing channels, ensuring consistency and alignment with our brand strategy. Take charge of end-to-end campaign execution, work within campaign budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Identify and leverage the most suitable marketing channels (social media, content marketing, email marketing, SEO, paid advertising, events etc.) to engage our target audience effectively.
  • Work closely with creative teams, copywriters, designers, and marketing analysts to bring campaigns to life. Foster a collaborative environment, leveraging the expertise of team members to deliver integrated and impactful marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate success, providing actionable recommendations for optimization and future campaigns. 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in creating and executing marketing strategies in a product-led organization
  • Proven track record executing product marketing strategies that had impactful results
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform marketing strategies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of writing complex documents and creating marketing materials, presentations, and product messaging 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial services
  • Creative problem-solver with a growth mindset; actively and intuitively seeks ways to simplify process and improve performance
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, highly motivated, action-oriented individual 
  • Ability to translate technical functionality into key messaging that effectively conveys the benefits to end-users.
  • Ability to execute acquisition and growth activities
