Job Description

TEL's new Integrated Circuit Design Solutions (ICDS) team is seeking a Product Marketing Engineer to implement business development of cutting-edge ICs in the latest advanced-node technologies. This position requires all aspects of business development, customer engagement and project management skills.


 TEL is known as Wafer Manufacturing Equipment (WFE) company, but our pursuing business is quite different from our regular equipment business, it’s more like service model business.

Successful candidates have experience in sales, marketing and business development area, with guts of developing very new business models to bring innovative solutions to customers. Also need to closely work with our engineering team to proposition our differentiated solutions to customer.


Job Description

  • Creating new business to bring innovating solution in design, testing and Yield enhancement area

  • Comprehending our final business and break it down to long-term business development milestones

  • Developing business development scenarios together with team, then break it down into customer development plans

  • Developing and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships

  • Deeply involving in new business sales activities, it’s required to engage with Design and Engineering teams

  • Reporting is needed, posting sales activities and results to CRM system, and updating and revising SAP system as required

  • Reporting sales activities at weekly and monthly Sales meeting, tracking and achieving booking and revenue targets

  • Researching oversees market trend and monitoring competitive activities to maintain our business differentiations

  • Establishing pricing strategies and structures to be competitive

  • 50% of domestic business travel, 10% of international business travel, 40% of office work

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of Sales and Marketing experience in Wafer fabrication equipment, Semiconductor testing and packaging, Yield monitoring software, Service and licensing business are additionally evaluated.

The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
