The Challenge 🧩

Currently, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to bring your cross-functional Topic Team to the next level, working towards the achievement of the objectives and beyond, partnering closely with other areas such as Development, Business, Operations and Marketing. You must be comfortable with being both strategic and hands-on, with a customer-centric mindset you will find the balance to further scale our product and maximize the potential value we can deliver to our Wallapop users and organization. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, product vision, and leadership skills to drive initiatives that address challenges in a dynamic digital environment.  

What You Will Do 👇

  • Drive the development and execution of the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on impact, user needs, and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, product design, and operations teams to develop and launch innovative products that meet user needs and drive business growth.
  • Ensure product quality standards are maintained across all devices, platforms, and applicable use cases.
  • Analyze market trends and user feedback to inform product development and strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback, iterating and refining products to improve user experience and achieve business goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge

What We’re Looking For 🔎

  • Demonstrated experience in leading x-functional teams to successfully deliver product initiatives in a fast paced environment 
  • Ability to solve complex problems, assess risks, and carry out well-structured, data-informed reasoning 
  • Deep user empathy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English a must & spanish a plus 


Do note that all our jobs are 📍 Barcelona based. We follow a hybrid model where flexibility rules. We commit to a minimum of 6 days per month in the office. Each team self-organizes to decide on cadence and in-person/remote rituals.

What does the hiring process for this position look like? 👀**Please, note that all interviews take place remotely over hangouts.**

Intro Call - run by talent acquisition, focus on providing more information about the role and the company as well as going over your experience, motivation, and expectations. This usually takes 45-60 minutes.

Hiring manager call: run by the HM to asses basic fit with the role. This usually takes 30-45 minutes. 

Case Study Submission - you will be assigned a task to submit within 5 up to 7 days where you will be able to showcase your expertise for the role.

Expertise Interview - run by the hiring team, focus on the required core skills and the ability to deliver in a given context. This usually takes 60-90 minutes.

Stakeholder Interview - run by relevant stakeholders reflecting the reality of the context of the role, focus on the ability to collaborate & deliver in a cross-functional set-up. This usually takes 60 minutes.

Culture Interview - run by culture interviewers, focus on adherence to Wallapop's purpose and business proposition. This usually takes 60 minutes. 

Offer - should you be the right candidate, your offer will be discussed over a call with talent acquisition and will then be confirmed in writing.
