About the Role:-

As a Senior Product Manager of Healthcare at Plum, you will own the product vision,

strategy, and execution of our healthcare business. Your role will be crucial in transforming

how users interact with healthcare products, making them more accessible, intuitive, and

effective. You'll drive product innovation while maintaining the deep sense of empathy and

care that's central to our healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities:-


  • 1. Strategic Leadership:-

  • Own and drive the strategic product roadmap for Plum's healthcare offerings, aligning product investments with business goals and user needs
  • Develop and implement key product processes that balance innovation with reliability in healthcare delivery
  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of high performance and customer-centricity


  • 2. Product Development & Innovation:-

  • Partner with customers, healthcare providers, and stakeholders to understand explicit and latent needs in the healthcare space
  • Collaborate closely with High-Performing Engineering teams to build scalable healthcare products that meet stringent quality and compliance requirements
  • Drive product discovery through user research, usability studies, and data-driven experiments
  • Author and review Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) for complex healthcare features
  • Make critical decisions across multiple domains — from healthcare regulations to user experience — that help your team move forward efficiently

  • 3. Process Excellence:-

  • Establish robust frameworks for measuring product success and impact on healthcare outcomes
  • Develop and implement processes for effective performance management and reporting
  • Identify highest-value opportunities to increase productivity while maintaining healthcare quality standards
  • Balance the trade-offs between perfect healthcare solutions and fast iteration

Requirements:-


  • 1. Experience & Skills:-

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in healthcare technology
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring product teams in complex domains
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, regulations, and user needs
  • Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership
  • Deep analytical skills for testing product hypotheses and generating actionable insights
  • Experience in building and scaling healthcare products with demonstrated commercial success

  • 2. Technical & Domain Knowledge:-

  • Strong grasp of healthcare technology trends and digital healthcare solutions
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
  • Experience with healthcare data analytics and outcomes measurement
  • Ability to translate complex healthcare concepts into simple, user-friendly solutions

  • 3. Leadership & Communication:-

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience in leading through influence across multiple teams
  • Strong project and program management capabilities
  • Track record of making difficult trade-off decisions in complex healthcare scenarios

  • Growth in user base and engagement across healthcare products
  • Improvement in key healthcare metrics
  • Customer satisfaction scores and Net Promoter Score (NPS)
  • Successful launch of new healthcare features and products

Additional Information:-

  • Prior experience in digital health startups or healthcare technology companies is a plus
  • Deep understanding of user experience principles in healthcare contexts
  • Experience with agile methodologies and lean product development
