Cboe's Risk & Market Analytics team is seeking an exceptional Technical EMS/OMS Product Manager to join our dynamic team. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the OEMS space with Silexx, our cutting-edge multi-asset, multi-broker platform solution.
Location: Chicago or NYC (flex hybrid)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers to gather requirements, translate user needs into detailed technical specifications, and design innovative solutions for new product features.
- Craft clear, concise, and technically accurate product requirements documentation (PRDs) that provide a comprehensive roadmap for software engineers.
- Lead product roadmap initiatives end-to-end through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as the Product Owner for your agile software engineering team.
- Establish yourself as the domain expert. Stay current on competitor activity, market trends, partnership opportunities, and regulatory changes. Continuously identify potential product enhancements for core focus areas.
- Proactively support sales, marketing, and client service by providing deep product knowledge and strategic guidance.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, fostering a collaborative and successful partnership.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Execution or Order Management System (EMS/OMS) development, with a demonstrably strong technical background.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in product design, business analysis, or product management.
- Previous experience managing and mentoring technical teams is a plus.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; an advanced degree is a strong plus.
- Proven track record of researching and meticulously understanding client requirements to translate them into actionable product backlogs for your Scrum Team.
- Proficiency in product design principles and processes, with a solid understanding of agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent time management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences. You should be adept at engaging with clients and prospects to uncover their intricate business and operational needs.

As required by the New York City Human Rights Law, Cboe provides a reasonable range of minimum base salary for roles that may be performed in New York City. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, level of experience, etc. For New York City only, the range of starting base salary for this role is $140,000-$231,000. Additional incentive compensation and benefits may be available.
