ABOUT THIS ROLE
Apex Fintech Solutions is recognized for disrupting the financial services industry, enabling Fintech standouts like Stash, Robinhood, and Betterment. We've got an amazing track record of success and fostering ongoing innovation. Our Product Managers stand at the leading edge of this disruption and are responsible for guiding new products at Apex.
The Senior Product Manager (Cash) will report to the Senior Manager, Product Management (Transfers) (securities, cash, and regulatory reporting) and will have extensive cross-functional interaction. The role will also focus on building out our Cash Product with new payment rails, upgrading our risk rule engine, and pushing our suite of APIs towards a SaaS platform offering over time.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Define the strategy, vision, and roadmap for our cash products that will delight our customers and satisfy any regulatory or operational requirements.
• Provide insights and actionable recommendations based on analysis and alignment with business goals.
• Work with customers and senior business leaders to identify and solve product gaps.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and document detailed product requirements and lead products from design to launch.
• Author and maintain key product documentation such as Annual Operating Plans, Product Charters, PR-FAQs, Narratives, and other risk-focused artifacts.
• Be accountable for the functional and financial success of cash products.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or other related field (or equivalent work experience) required; Master's degree in business, finance, or technology preferred
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Product-adjacent role.

Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications with the ability to influence across all levels and foster alignment between cross-functional teams.
• Analytical capabilities and comfort with BI tools, Excel, and SQL.
• Proficient in driving frequent value delivery through Agile methodologies.
• Ability to dig into business or technical problems and find pragmatic solutions.
• Expertise in navigating ambiguity and balancing competing demands and limited resources in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with REST or gRPC API design.
• Knowledge in wealth-management, clearing, custody, accounting, or payment processing industries.

Work Environment

• This job operates in a hybrid, office environment.
• Requires occasional travel (15%+ time) to meet with distributed teams and stakeholders in various locations.
