Role Description

As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the development and execution of product strategies that drive adoption, customer engagement, and business growth. You will oversee multiple products and features from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs. This role requires a strong blend of product management and product marketing expertise, working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX/UI design, marketing, sales, and customer support.

To excel in this role, you must demonstrate strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage both upward and downward while mentoring other product managers. Exceptional communication skills are essential, enabling you to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. A proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with design, engineering, and other stakeholders is crucial. Additionally, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a data-driven decision-making approach, are key to success. Most importantly, you should have a passion for developing innovative products that address customer needs.

What you’ll be doing

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product roadmaps, outlining strategic vision, key milestones, and timelines.
  • Conduct market research and analyze user needs to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements. 
  • Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark products and identify areas for differentiation and innovation.
  • Leverage industry trends and customer feedback to refine product strategies, and optimize go-to-market approaches, aligned with market demand, and business objectives.
  • Establish a feedback loop between customers and product development teams to ensure continuous improvement.

Product Development & Execution

  • Oversee the full product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch optimization.
  • Define and communicate clear product requirements to development teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to enhance user experience and ensure product usability.
  • Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and iterate on product features to optimize functionality and engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, leveraging insights to drive data-informed decisions.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product development and go-to-market execution.
  • Partner with customer support teams to address product-related inquiries and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with key customers to gather insights, identify pain points, and refine product offerings.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders and executive leadership.

Product Marketing & Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and retention.
  • Create compelling product messaging that highlights unique value propositions and resonates with target audiences.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure consistent product positioning and market communication.

Product Communication & Documentation

  • Prepare and distribute clear and comprehensive release notes for product updates and enhancements.
  • Lead internal and external product communications, keeping stakeholders informed about new features and developments.
  • Utilize various channels such as newsletters, blog posts, webinars, and social media to disseminate product information effectively.
  • Be a thought leader and product advocate in industry events and conferences.

Skills and Aptitudes

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management with a focus on product marketing.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with Agile development teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Native/C2 level or above).
  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and precision.
  • Comfortable working with multiple teams, including in-house and remote teams.

Preferable:

  • Professional Spanish (C2 level or above)
  • Scrum Alliance CSM or PMI's Agile Certified Professional certification.
  • Experience as part of an Agile development team.
  • Located in Bogotá
