Overview

Verkada is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of cutting-edge capabilities tailored for enterprise customers with 10,000+ users and globally distributed operations. In this role, you will design advanced functionality for managing user access, permissions, and security controls to meet the complex needs of national and global enterprises. Your work will empower customers to scale Verkada’s solutions seamlessly across their organizations, enhancing productivity while ensuring top-tier privacy capabilities and security compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable and secure user and group management solutions to address the needs of enterprise customers with complex organizational structures
  • Drive the implementation of advanced identity and access management (IAM) capabilities, including multifactor authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and SSO integrations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design permission hierarchies and access workflows optimized for large-scale, distributed organizations
  • Build privacy and compliance controls aligned with global regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) to support enterprise-level deployments
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, and Customer Success teams to deliver solutions that simplify access management and meet security expectations
  • Gather feedback from customers and analyze usage data to continuously refine and enhance scalability, usability, and adoption of key features
  • Define success metrics, track outcomes, and communicate progress to stakeholders

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with a focus on enterprise customer acquisition, expansion, and retention
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
  • Strong technical expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, emphasizing scalable solutions for enterprise organizations
  • Experience with authentication protocols and standards, including OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0, SCIM, and Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • Familiarity with advanced security features such as Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) and digital authentication workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to design solutions for audit logs and compliance workflows
  • Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities and drive decisions based on data
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering customer-centric solutions
  • Proven success in building integrations with enterprise tools like Okta and Azure Entra is a strong plus

Pay Disclosure

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
