The Role:
As a leading provider of on-demand pay solutions, we are seeking a talented and driven Product Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for enabling data-supported products around the organization, maintaining the data roadmap, and ensuring that our existing products' data need continue to evolve. You'll drive and organize the business' data needs, while rigorously prioritizing and being the face of data products to the business.
You're a hands-on problem-solver, deeply passionate about product and data, and you are at your best when moving a project from ambiguity to clarity. You're equally comfortable talking about data technology with engineers, explaining data products to colleagues around the business, and delivering a strategy for data to leadership, as well as pitching in on day-to-day efforts across the company. Equally important, you can manage the expectations of senior staff and the competing demands and opinions from across the organization. How You Will Make an Impact:
You will be responsible for identifying, strategizing, and executing the development of the data products roadmap that solves complex problems for DailyPay. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, client support, sales, and finance/accounting to define product requirements and bring them to life. Your insights and product expertise will inform the roadmap and drive the success of our products.
Requirements include:

  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, product owners, solution architects, engineers and delivery teams to document use cases, functional specifications, source to target mappings that capture business data and reporting requirements
  • Work in an Agile environment in partnership with the data products team to ensure data models are built with the right controls, quality, operational processes, and procedures to ensure the consistency and quality of data needs
  • Provide oversight of data quality programs, including remediating data quality issues (both proactive and reactive), so that users are confident in the quality of the data
  • Define and manage your product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value, customer feedback, and market opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data product requirements and bring them to life
  • Work closely with in-house engineers to iterate and build high-quality solutions
  • Mentor and provide guidance to other product managers on best practices for data product management
  • Be the subject matter expert for the new data solutions and act as a data product evangelist internally and externally
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the product team


What You Bring to The Team:

  • 5+ years of Product Manager experience in a data-related field
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
  • Strong working knowledge of concepts and components related to data management and governance, including data architecture, data warehousing, data models, data lineage, and data transformations and techniques
  • Demonstrable understanding of data-related technologies at scale
  • Expertise in data engineering, Machine Learning platforms, and data analytics
  • Experience in data and behavioral analytics, and able to be a steward of data problems identified by the business
  • Comfort applying a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to measure success
  • Advanced experience using database querying languages (SQL, HQL, SparkSQL)
  • Experience gathering requirements from multiple stakeholders and codifying it into
    actionable user stories
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
    and tight deadlines
  • Strong appreciation for the Oxford comma a plus

Pay Transparency. DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
