The Impact You Will Have

This role will be responsible for the design and implementation of new products within existing market/product lines.  You will ensure ongoing product efficiencies that will include product iterations, enhancements, lifecycle planning, product roadmap, and enabling product growth within segments and across the business.

You will play a crucial role in leveraging data storytelling to communicate insights and recommendations effectively, using data visualization and narrative techniques to influence stakeholders and drive decision-making.

In addition, this role will help resolve issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Furthermore, you will manage client implementation by overseeing the onboarding process and ensuring seamless integration of products into client environments.

A Day in the Life:

  • Data Analysis and Storytelling: Analyze performance data to uncover trends and insights to create compelling data visualizations and narratives that highlight key findings. Use data storytelling techniques to communicate the impact of product changes and propose new initiatives.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve issues that impact product performance or customer satisfaction. This involves conducting root cause analysis and working cross functionally to implement solutions.
  • Client Implementation Oversight: Ensure clients' configuration details are captured and tested before go-live. Coordinate with various departments to address any challenges, ensuring that the product integrates seamlessly into the client's environment.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on market trends and competitor products to inform product strategy and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Product Development Meetings: Collaborate with Product Owners, designers, and engineers to  review progress, provide feedback, and ensure that the product roadmap aligns with business goals and customer needs.
  • Strategic Planning: Engage in strategic planning sessions to develop Market/Product Strategy Roadmaps, using data-driven insights to support your recommendations and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business, technical degree or a relevant field.
  • Track history of identifying opportunities and taking action to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Strong data background – if you have worked as a developer or directly supported data teams as a Product Manager, that is plus!
  • Proficient in Excel and other MS Office apps.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau and other reporting apps.
  • Health or managed care experience.
  • One of the following certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe PM/PO, Agile Certified Product Manager (ACPMA) or LeSS

Required Skills & Experiences: 

  • 5+ years of Product Management and/or Product Ownership experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
  • Aptitude for independent strategic thinking as well as the ability to identify, leverage, and execute best practices while demonstrating a continuously innovative mindset.
  • Critical strategic  thinker / problem solver willing to take initiative with minimal direction.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and executive presence.
  • Proven strategic product development ability
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties 
  • Exceptional leadership skills

Note: The Product Manager role is more strategic in the organization and will be fewer of them supporting the organization. This role is key to providing strategic direction across multiple teams or strategic initiatives. We expect more Product Owners across the organization responsible for helping focus on product specific strategy and enabling delivery of key outcomes.

Role designation definition: Teleworking is working full time remote. Hybrid is a combination of working onsite and remotely.  Onsite is full-time onsite.

Compensation and Benefits

$100,000.00 - $135,000.00 - $170,000.00 Annual

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
