Sabre is looking for an individual who is passionate about solving complex problems through automation. Our Automation Hub and Ticket Express products are Sabre’s workflow management solutions that enable Travel Agencies to take post booking tasks performed by Agents and transform them to automated processes. Automation is a core strategy for Sabre and its partners and we see significant opportunity for growth. The Distribution Experience product team is highly engaged with customers, our engineers and our partners. We focus on collaboration to find solutions to business problems and leverage analytics and customer engagements to validate our assertions.  The successful product manager will be able to balance strategic thinking with tactical planning, is able to communicate complex ideas in simple terms, is positive and passionate, takes work seriously but not themselves and is eager to constantly learn.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the product team to build and maintain a roadmap that aligns capabilities with business goals and customer needs.
  • Leverage Sabre’s planning tools to define requirements, create user stories and prioritize the backlog of product improvements.
  • Partner with Engineering to plan and deliver value to the customer with predictable cadence and a focus on quality.
  • Perform the role of subject matter expert with sales and support teams and collaborate to understand market challenges.
  • Engage with customers and understand product competitive and market landscape.
  • Analyze customer behavior through instrumented data and identify problems and opportunities.
  • Create and maintain enablement materials for internal and external consumers.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Sabre and experience with Travel Agency workflows, Air Pricing and Ticketing.
  • Strong technical and business-oriented mindset, capable of bridging the gap between market needs and technical execution.
  • Curious and creative with a desire to solve problems with measurable results.
  • Good storyteller and communicator with fluency in English.
  • Tech savvy with knowledge of emerging trends in AI/ML.
  • Experience with software development and delivery processes is highly desirable.
  • Product Pricing experience is highly desirable.
