About The Role

As the Senior Product Manager for Website Chat at Podium, you’ll own our core first-party lead conversion products, focused on driving website lead capture for local businesses. A major focus will be the launch of a new live chat product, supporting real-time AI-driven website-based chat. This initiative will require close collaboration across the organization. Your influence will extend beyond product execution, making you a key player in ensuring Podium’s chat solutions continue to be a source of innovation, customer value, and revenue growth.

This position is based in Lehi, UT and will require you to work in-office 3 days per week.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision and Roadmap: Own and evolve the product vision and roadmap for Podium’s existing webchat product and new live chat initiatives. Identify areas for growth and innovation to keep Podium’s chat tools at the forefront of industry trends.
  • Zero to One Product Development and Ownership: Lead the launch and own the success of new live chat product, working closely with design, engineering, and go-to-market teams. Ensure tight integration with Podium’s inbox and AI agents while driving alignment with revenue goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive development, implementation, and support of chat tools. Act as a product evangelist internally and externally, ensuring buy-in across the organization.
  • Customer Insights and Feedback: Engage directly with customers to gather feedback and insights that will drive product improvements and future innovations.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage product and usage data to inform decisions and optimize performance. Continuously analyze product metrics and customer behavior to uncover new opportunities for growth.
  • User Experience: Partner with the design team to ensure the chat tools provide a seamless, delightful user experience that integrates well across web and SMS platforms.
  • AI and Automation Integration: Collaborate with Podium’s AI team to ensure the live chat product integrates effectively with AI-powered automation and agent tools, driving customer efficiency and engagement.
  • Executive Communication: Communicate effectively with executive leadership, demonstrating strong executive presence and the ability to influence strategic decisions through clear and compelling product insights and recommendations.

About You

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a track record of successfully delivering web-based products, ideally in SaaS or communication tools.
  • High agency and ownership, with a willingness to tackle problems end-to-end, learning what’s necessary along the way to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Proven experience in fast-paced technical environments, adept at working with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define requirements, and guide projects through key milestones.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, and continuously optimize for growth and customer success.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, AI, and marketing teams to deliver high-impact products.
  • Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience in SQL and data visualization tools to drive data-informed product decisions and measure success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product strategies, updates, and insights to a wide range of audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Experience leading the development of new products from scratch, with a strong bias toward action and execution in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
  • A passion for driving customer engagement and helping local businesses succeed through innovative tools and experiences.
  • Enthusiasm for AI, with a solid understanding of AI systems, including autonomous agents and their practical applications.
