About the Role

As a Product Manager - AI/ML Innovation Platform, you will lead the charge in driving the development and adoption of AI/ML capabilities within ResMed. This role is pivotal in enabling our teams to explore, build, and deploy AI/ML models and products that can transform healthcare delivery. Your primary responsibility will be to build and enhance products and capabilities that support the full AI/ML lifecycle—from data acquisition and preparation through to model deployment and monitoring. You will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and other platform teams to ensure our AI/ML platform is robust, scalable, and supportive of rapid experimentation. This position will be based in Bengaluru, India.

About the Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the AI/ML Innovation Platform.

• Develop and maintain a roadmap that aligns with organizational goals, company strategy, and the needs of AI/ML stakeholders.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging AI/ML technologies, and regulatory changes to inform product strategy and ensure compliance with PHI/PII regulations.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across APAC & the US, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, and business leaders, to define requirements and prioritize features.

• Act as the voice of the customer (internal users) and advocate for their needs throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment on product goals and outcomes.

• Build strong relationships with legal, privacy, and compliance teams to develop scalable AI/ML solutions that operate within regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA.

Product Development & Execution

• Lead the end-to-end product development process for AI/ML platform features, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery. Own the AI Platform Roadmap.

• Work closely with engineering teams to refine technical requirements, manage backlogs, and prioritize work based on business impact and user feedback.

• Implement and manage frameworks for PHI/PII data handling within AI/ML models, ensuring all solutions adhere to relevant regulations.

• Champion the adoption of AI/ML best practices across the organization through training, communication, and support.

• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the AI/ML platform and inform continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in product management, with a focus on AI/ML, data platforms, or related areas.

• Experience with AI/ML product lifecycles, including model development, deployment, and monitoring.

• Familiarity with PHI/PII data management and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in healthcare.

• Experience with data platforms, developer tools, model deployment, and monitoring tools.

• Proficiency in managing compliance with privacy and legal regulations in AI/ML product development.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Leadership & Communication

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse teams.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working cross-functionally and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
