We’re looking for a Senior Product Engineering Manager to lead, build, and grow a world-class engineering team, delivering innovative and scalable software products for enterprise customers.

As a key leader, you’ll work closely with the CTO to align engineering efforts with the company’s technical vision and collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and Scale Teams: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team to meet the demands of a rapidly growing company.
- Deliver Scalable Solutions: Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise-grade software systems, ensuring high-quality, secure, and reliable solutions.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with technical teams, including Machine Learning, Platform and Infrastructure, and Product Engineering, to deliver cohesive solutions that meet customer needs and advance company goals.
- Partner with Leadership: Act as a strategic partner to the CTO, CEO, and other senior leaders, aligning technical strategies with business objectives to drive impactful results.
- Drive Technical Strategy: Define and execute technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives, balancing speed, innovation, and quality.
- Ensure Operational Excellence: Manage team resources, workloads, and project timelines to deliver results on time and within budget.
- Foster Innovation: Encourage experimentation and innovation to create products that redefine how businesses operate, leveraging emerging technologies where appropriate.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate who combines strong leadership skills with technical expertise and a proven track record of delivering results in high-impact engineering roles.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4+ years in engineering management.
- Proven ability to guide and review software architecture, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance systems while leading and managing modern development practices across engineering teams.
- Proven ability to manage and scale teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments, particularly at startups or high-growth companies.
- Proficiency in at least one OOP language (Python/JavaScript/TypeScript/Java) and experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI, Express).
- Experience delivering enterprise-grade software solutions that solve real-world problems for customers.
- Experience with unit and integration testing strategies, and familiarity with test automation practices and tools.
- Knowledge of relational database concepts and scalable data architecture.
- Ability to write or oversee the creation of clear and concise technical specifications derived from high-level business and product goals.
- Comfort operating in a startup or high-growth environment where priorities can shift.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with SaaS business models, multi-tenant architectures, or cloud-based solutions.
- Familiarity with enterprise automation technologies or document processing systems is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerization).
- Knowledge of software security best practices, including data access, application security, and IAM.
- Experience working in or adjacent to industries like BPO, financial services, or enterprise automation fields.
- Experience with ReactJS, HTML, and CSS for frontend development.
- Japanese language skills or a strong interest in learning.
