Senior Product Designer
Role
We are seeking candidates to partner with a global pharmaceutical company at the forefront of innovation. The organization’s innovation incubator drives transformational change by creating and developing cutting-edge solutions that redefine healthcare from every angle – production, branding, communications, technology, etc. We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer to join a pod of creative professionals in shaping the future of pharma.
This role is for a true executor, someone who thrives on setting the tone and vision for design work and delivering exceptional outputs. You will spend the majority of your day focused on creating and perfecting design solutions, ensuring that every aspect meets the highest standards. This is a hands-on role with no management duties, but you’ll lead by example, pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design Execution: Spend the majority of your day immersed in design work, setting the tone for the visual and interactive elements of our products.
- Visionary Work: Define and uphold a strong creative vision for our product, ensuring all outputs are aligned with the innovation goals of the company.
- Prototype Development: Utilize your Figma expertise to build interactive prototypes, creating dynamic experiences that can be tested and iterated upon.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to bring ideas from concept to completion.
- Innovation & Creativity: Stay ahead of design trends, continuously refining your craft to push boundaries and innovate in the pharmaceutical space.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in product design with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional design outputs.
- Expertise: Deep expertise in visual design, with additional skills in animation and front-end development being strong advantages.
- Tools: Proficient in Figma, with a proven ability to create prototypes that drive product decisions and user testing.
- Mindset: Self-starter and executor, able to thrive in an environment focused on innovation and creative problem-solving.
- Contributor: This role will be instrumental in executing creative and prototyping work and setting the creative bar high.
- Preferred Skills:
- Animation skills for creating engaging, interactive experiences.
- Front-end development knowledge to better collaborate with engineering teams. Experience with leading moderated user testing cycles leveraging prototypes and test scripts
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and investigative skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Effective teamwork, interpersonal, conflict management and negotiation skills
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with peers, business partners and management
Below is the pay range of this position for considered candidates based on qualifications and experience.
Pay Range
$60—$65 USD
