Summary Generated by Built In

Are you passionate about creating meaningful, user-centred digital experiences that influence the way people travel across the globe? Do you want to be part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and impact? At Travix, we don’t just design products - we shape the future of travel, and we need creative, data-driven thinkers like you to join us.

Product Experience at Travix International

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be a key player in the end-to-end design process, working with cross-functional teams to develop design solutions that not only look great but also drive product strategy. You’ll have the freedom to explore new ideas through dedicated R&D time, all while collaborating closely with top engineers, data analysts, and customer experience researchers.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Deep Collaboration and Influence: At Travix, designers don’t just deliver visuals—they shape the direction of the product. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative team, working closely with product managers, engineers, and analysts to bring designs to life that are data-driven and aligned with the company’s strategic goals. Your insights and ideas will be integral to our product decisions.
  • Experimentation and Innovation Encouraged: We believe that the best ideas come from curiosity and experimentation. That’s why we dedicate weekly R&D time for you to innovate and explore new concepts, tools, and design methodologies without constraints. We take experimentation seriously but believe in having fun while doing it!
  • Global Impact: Travix operates on a global scale, and as a Senior Product Designer, you’ll be solving real-world problems that impact millions of users across different cultures and regions. Whether it’s designing for mobile-first experiences or optimising the travel journey, your work will make travel simpler, more accessible, and more delightful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Design Process: Take complete ownership of a product domain, from initial ideation to final delivery. You’ll develop user-centred designs, turn wireframes into high-fidelity mockups, and continuously refine them based on data insights and user feedback.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, top-tier engineers, data analysts, and researchers to shape the user experience. You won’t just be responding to briefs—you’ll be influencing product strategy and contributing to design decisions that drive business outcomes.
  • Leverage Data to Drive Design Decisions: Work in partnership with our in-house data analysts and customer experience researchers to conduct A/B testing, usability studies, and other experimentation methods. Use these insights to craft designs that not only resonate with users but also improve key metrics like conversion rates.
  • R&D Time for Creative Freedom: Each week, you’ll have dedicated time for R&D, allowing you to explore, test new ideas, and innovate without any immediate constraints. Whether you’re experimenting with new design tools, learning a new skill, or just messing around in Figma, you’ll have the freedom to bring fresh ideas to life.
  • Present and Lead: As a senior member of the team, you’ll be leading design discussions with stakeholders, ensuring your vision aligns with business objectives. You’ll articulate your rationale confidently, driving decisions at all levels.

What you bring to the table

  • Creative Vision and Strategic Thinking: You don’t just design for aesthetics—you design for impact. Your work is informed by data, analytics, and a deep understanding of user psychology. You’re adept at balancing creativity with business goals.
  • Experience in E-Commerce and Mobile Design: Your strong portfolio demonstrates your ability to create mobile-first designs in a fast-paced e-commerce environment, with a focus on conversion rate optimisation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You thrive in a collaborative environment where you’re working closely with teams across disciplines. You enjoy the give-and-take of refining ideas with engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
  • A Desire to Innovate: You’re constantly seeking out new design trends, tools, and methodologies, and you’re excited about experimentation and making a mess.
  • 7+ Years of Experience: As a seasoned Product Designer, you’ve worked on high-traffic, consumer-facing products and understand the importance of combining user insights with product metrics.
