Responsibilities

  • Owns and take responsibility for all aspects of design and implementation of design for our web and mobile platforms
  • Creates wireframes and high-fidelity deliverables to development teams
  • Creates user flows and/or user journeys
  • Partners closely with product and development teams to ensure design accuracy
  • Designs new components or patterns to the existing design systems and style guides or can create new design systems if needed
  • Uses research data, design principles, or other objective information to support and promote design decisions and recommendations
  • Lead usability testing sessions and interpret data to use in designs
  • Considers the holistic user experience and potential states in their work
  • Identifies and flags instances where existing patterns do not work properly
  • Considers how their designs can support the company vision and team goals
  • Demonstrates knowledge of our design processes by effectively working through the correct process for each design
  • Presents design frameworks, processes, interaction, etc. to those outside of design team in meetings or in formal presentations
  • Creates interactive prototypes of varies levels
  • Leads design meetings when needed
  • Provides feedback and mentorship to Associate and Product Designers
  • Assists with special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product or UI/UX design experience

Skills

  • Proficiency in information architecture, user flows and cross-platform flows
  • Ability to create original, imaginative, and creative designs dependent on the project assigned
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effectively builds and manages relationships across teams and functions
  • Able to communicate complex ideas, goals, and problems in a way that is easy for others not familiar with the project to understand
  • Proficient in UI software, Figma
  • Self-directed with the ability to work with limited supervision

Bonus Skills

  • Proficiency with human-centered design research methodology
  • Experience conducting studies, analysis, and user testing to make data informed decisions
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum teams
  • Experience with B2B Saas projects
