Senior Product Designer - Product Discovery

Job Description

We are looking for a London based Senior Product Designer to join the cross-functional teams that make up Discovery & Growth — a squad that empowers potential customers to fulfil their international money needs. You’ll create engaging web experiences and useful tools that equip customers with the information they need to understand more about our products and solutions. This is a unique opportunity to design some of the first experiences a customer will have with Wise. 

Here’s how you’ll be contributing:

• Get to know our customers, building empathy and a deep understanding of their needs 

• Lead work and be influential in your team increasing customer-centricity, creativity, and design quality 

• Create experiences that tell the story of our products and solutions in engaging ways across web, app and beyond

• Support in building out our new Web Design System and create templates for other teams to build from

• Design tools that provide people with the information they need to learn more about Wise

• Champion the Wise brand and its carefully considered implementation

This role will give you the opportunity to:

• Define what great looks like, then help deliver it

About you: 

• Hands-on experience launching well-crafted, impactful web surfaces in fast paced, engineering-led environments

• Understanding of interaction design best practices and experience designing accessible web surfaces

• Comfortable designing for responsive web surfaces (desktop and mobile)

• Experience working with design systems to produce beautiful and functional design that is both accessible and scalable, collaborating with engineering teams or using CMS systems to bring designs to life 

• Strong collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional teams 

• Exceptional problem solving skills and holistic design thinking

• Able to prioritise key activities, addressing uncertainties and defining key metrics
