As a Senior Product Communications Program Manager, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between technical and business updates and the sales team's understanding and adoption. Your role will involve translating complex system releases, updates, and features into easily understandable language for the sales team. By effectively communicating product updates and their benefits, you will empower the sales team to deliver on their value proposition to customers. This role is a key member of the corporate communications and reputation team, and an active participant in the strategy team for CDW. Key Responsibilities:
* Translate Technical Updates: Convert technical jargon and complex system releases into clear, concise, and compelling communications that resonate with the sales team. Ensure that the information provided is accurate, relevant, and aligned with the CDW's product roadmap and objectives.
* Create Sales Enablement Materials: Develop sales enablement materials such as presentations, videos, cheat sheets, FAQs, and guides that equip the sales team with the necessary knowledge and tools to navigate change from awareness to adoption to value realization.
* Collaborate with Product Team: Work closely with the strategy and product team to understand upcoming releases, feature enhancements, and product roadmaps. Act as a liaison between product development and sales, providing valuable insights and feedback to both teams.
* Gather Feedback and Create Two-Way Cycle of Innovation: Solicit feedback from the sales team regarding product messaging, positioning, and the effectiveness of sales enablement materials. Use this feedback to continuously iterate and improve communication strategies and resources. Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, and five years' experience in technical writing, marketing communications, or sales enablement OR 9 years' experience in technical writing, marketing communications, or sales enablement
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear and compelling messaging.
* Creative Execution Skills such as video production (scripting, storyboarding, filming, editing); Infographic design (proficiency in tools just as Canva, Adobe Illustrator); Interactive Presentations; Podcast production; Gamification Techniques such as interactive quizzes, challenges and simulations that reinforce knowledge and encourage participation among sales coworkers.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
* Creative execution - ability to think creatively and develop communications that are clear, compelling and inspire action.
* Change communication understanding and experience.
* Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as strategy, sales, and marketing.
* Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and quality.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
