We are seeking an analytical and organized Procurement Manager to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

·         Develop and implement purchasing strategies

·         Manage daily purchasing activities and assign tasks

·         Oversee supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices and timelines

·         Maintain the supplier database, purchasing records and related documentation

·         Coordinate with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs

·         Ensure that all procured items meet required quality standards and specifications

·         Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets

·         Work to continuously improve purchasing systems and processes

·         Train new employees in purchasing processes and how to use the purchasing system

Who YOU Are

·         An excellent communicator with high-level written and verbal skills

·         A critical thinker and strong negotiator

·         Have exceptional planning and organizational skills

·         Able and comfortable with working independently

Qualifications

·         Degree in accounting, business administration or a related field

·         Experience as a purchasing manager or in a similar position

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software

·         Experience with Sage Software is a plus
