We are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of out Austin, TX.
Job Summary
We are seeking to add a Senior Procurement Manager to play an integral role in our Global Supply Chain Organization. The Senior Procurement Manager is an ideal role for an experienced procurement practitioner who is considered a subject matter expert in all procurement categories. The role will be responsible for supporting the global team leads as they develop and deploy their department needs. The global spend categories will include subcategories such as IT, marketing, legal, consulting, human resource services, and information technologies. The role will work very closely with senior stakeholders across Imprivata and will play a key role in both the global supply chain team and the company as a whole.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams' analysts and managers to deliver cost savings through global and regional sourcing events, including providing executive updates as needed.
  • Pursue cash flow improvements through negotiation of payment terms.
  • Lead and support contract negotiations as required to secure mutually beneficial terms and conditions with key vendors and agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with Imprivata procurement and governance standards by working closely with finance, marketing, human resources, IT, and legal teams across all global regions.
  • Work with appropriate teams to analyze (and monitor) all category spends to ensure maximum value and spend efficiency.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the department business teams based on spending patterns and supplier performance.
  • Manage supplier risk by ensuring selected vendors are complaint with Imprivata's expectations for quality, compliance and performance. Track supplier performance to ensure performance is in line with the deployed category strategies.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the category budget holders and leaders both regionally and globally.
  • Assist in the development and reporting of spend by functional area, spend savings, and all other key Procurement metrics.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in, economics, business, procurement, supply chain management or related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant strategic sourcing experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in an Indirect Procurement function, at an International organization.
  • Proficiency in Strategic Sourcing best practices (e.g., category plans, market intel, competitive bids, negotiation planners, dual sourcing, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of sourcing platforms (e.g., Coupa) and contract management systems.
  • In-depth experience conducting RFx and negotiating commercial terms with suppliers/service providers.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in contract law as it pertains to contract negotiations with suppliers/service providers.
  • Experience developing and implementing sourcing strategies for assigned categories/commodities.
  • Ability to work across geographies and time zones with business/process partners (internal and external).
  • Proven track record of building partner relationships; influencing and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to build credibility and trust through subject matter expertise and demonstrated results.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment, while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Aptitude to troubleshoot and make timely decisions on a variety of issues, with the goal of maximum favorable outcomes and minimal risk to the business and bottom line.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills and the ability to clearly convey relevant information to a broad spectrum of audiences.
  • Passion for driving change and continuously improving processes.


This position offers a total compensation range of $185,000.00 to $195,000.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
