Title: Senior Pricing Data Analyst (Contractor Position)
Duration: 6 months
Location: Hybrid – 2 days/week in Calhoun, GA
Position Overview
We are seeking a SeniorPricing Data Analyst (Contractor) to support pricing analysis and manage large, decentralized data sets. This role requires strong problem-solving skills to identify, structure, and analyze pricing data, along with expertise in SQL, Python, and Power BI to extract insights and support data-driven decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of pricing processes and systems, along with the ability to work in complex data environments. Experience with PriceFX data is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pricing analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Work within a de-centralized data environment to gather, clean, transform, and analyze data.
- Utilize Python and SQL or other analysis tools to extract, manipulate, and prepare data for analysis.
- Build Power BI dashboards to visualize key pricing insights.
- Apply business acumen to translate complex data into pricing insights
- Ensure data integrity and validation to support accurate pricing models and decision-making.
- Stay informed on pricing tools and best practices, with an ability to evaluate and integrate new technologies as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a data analyst both curing data and generating business insights
- Experience working with pricing processes, pricing systems, and pricing analytics.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to generate insights from pricing data.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python or similar tools for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI for creating reports and interactive dashboards.
- Ability to work in a de-centralized data environment, structuring and organizing complex datasets.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify key pricing drivers and opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PriceFX and SAP
- Background in pricing strategy and revenue management
