Our Team
The Online Infrastructure team owns our Online Multiplayer Game infrastructure. Our goal is to develop systems that enable game developers to reliably build and operate games on a global scale. By providing foundational building blocks, we allow the studio to delight players through new gameplay experiences.We are deeply invested in the implementation of industry best-practices in the areas of platform engineering and infrastructure management. By joining us you will work side by side with artists, designers, developers, and game programmers in a highly ambitious and creative atmosphere.
What you will do
- Design, implement, and manage compute abstractions for our engineers
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline processes
- Own our platform services, improving service levels, incident response, on-call and other operational areas.
- Collaborate with software engineers to enhance system performance and reliability
- Be an advocate for industry trends and off-the-shelf services that could be delivered to engineering teams.
Who you are
We would like to hear from you if you meet the following criteria:
- Proven track record of architecting and delivering user facing products, with a focus on developer experience and self-service
- Experience driving wide change in large engineering organizations.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools and the Kubernetes ecosystem
- Proven experience on building and operating multi service, 1M+ user globally distributed systems across multiple public cloud providers
- Experienced in developing infrastructure tools and automation (Python, Go, Bash), and security practices
Plusses
- Performance tuning of Linux systems
- AWS expertise
- Online games industry experience

What We Do
As one of Europe's leading game development studios, Guerrilla has continually pushed the boundaries of technical and artistic excellence since its inception in 2003. Today, the studio employs 400 professionals from 25 different nationalities. Guerrilla’s state-of-the-art offices are located in the cultural and historical heart of Amsterdam, The Netherlands — a great place to work and play.
Guerrilla was founded as the result of a merger between three smaller Dutch studios: Lost Boys Games, Orange Games and Digital Infinity. In 2005, it was acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment after the release of Killzone on PlayStation 2. In the decade that followed, Guerrilla expanded Killzone into a successful franchise with a handheld spin-off and three sequels.
Guerrilla's next title, released for PlayStation 4 in 2017 and for PC in 2020, is the critically and popularly acclaimed open world action-RPG Horizon Zero Dawn. The studio released its sequel Horizon Forbidden West in February 2022, with the Burning Shores expansion in 2023. This year, Guerrilla also released the PSVR2 title, Horizon Call of the Mountain
