Position Summary

We’re seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to take a leading role in designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructure automation and internal tooling that supports our rapidly growing teams. In this role, you’ll build automation frameworks, design scalable deployment pipelines, and work across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments—partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and consistent infrastructure solutions. If you're passionate about infrastructure as code, cloud-native automation, and enabling high-performing engineering teams, we invite you to join us.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain infrastructure automation tools using Go and Python
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Ansible across multi-account AWS environments, as well as supporting Azure and GCP
  • Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI and GitHub Actions to streamline secure and scalable cloud deployments
  • Collaborate with professional services, operations, and other automation engineers to identify opportunities for platform improvements and deliver impactful solutions
  • Act as a technical mentor within the automation team, supporting the development of junior engineers and promoting best practices
  • Contribute to the evolution of our internal platform infrastructure and tooling frameworks
  • Support cloud automation initiatives related to security, compliance, provisioning, and orchestration
  • Participate in Kanban workflows and agile practices to prioritize work, provide visibility, and drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, systems, and deployment processes

What You'll Bring

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or platform engineering roles
  • Demonstrable experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tooling in multi-account cloud environments
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing CI/CD systems and automated deployment pipelines
  • Advanced proficiency in Go and Python for backend development and automation tooling
  • Strong experience with Terraform and Ansible in large-scale, multi-cloud environments
  • Deep understanding of AWS, with practical experience supporting Azure and GCP
  • Proven ability to build and manage robust CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Solid knowledge of DevOps best practices, including infrastructure provisioning, secrets management, and automation patterns
  • Experience working in agile environments using Kanban or similar methodologies
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, mentorship-oriented mindset

Bonus Points

  • Experience working in a cybersecurity or compliance-focused engineering environment
  • Background supporting internal engineering platforms and developer enablement
  • Exposure to additional scripting languages or frameworks supporting automation tasks.
  • Experience working on internal tools and general engineering support in a professional services or technical operations setting.
  • AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Security certifications
