This position reports to the Physical Security Manager and is located in Calabasas, CA.
Essential Duties:
Support the Security Department in the maintenance, repair, testing, and updates of all security systems and equipment.
Support the administration of physical security consistent with policies, procedures, quality standards, and government requirements
Monitor security systems effectiveness and performance
Create and file documentation
Work closely with other security members to determine physical security requirements
Create and provide reports from systems and professional documentation of security systems
Responsible for leading large-scale security projects
Overseeing the design and integration of complex physical security systems across multiple locations
Involves providing strategic insight into security infrastructure
Mentor junior engineers
Manage system upgrades and compliance with advanced security standards
Provide strategic input for the overall security infrastructure of the organization
Ensure all security systems meet regulatory standards and are scalable for future growth.
Required Skills:
7-10 years of experience in designing and integrating security systems in high-risk environments (e.g., corporate campuses, data centers, government facilities).
Expertise in SCIF standards and compliance with complex security frameworks such as NIST and PCI-DSS.
Experience with multi-site system integration and IoT security systems.
Proficiency with enterprise-level security platforms (e.g., Genetec Security Center, RS2, or Software House C-Cure 9000)
Expertise in advanced system design, including large-scale video surveillance, access control, and alarm systems.
Proficiency in network security, IoT integration, and managing security across multiple locations.
Strong understanding of SCIF standards and their implementation in secure facilities.
Ability to provide strategic insights into security infrastructure and design innovative solutions.
Expertise of UL2050
Strong Understanding of SQL Databases
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Strong working knowledge of Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Service Now
Familiarity with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, NIST, or UL 294
Expert understanding of blueprints and wiring diagrams
Strong troubleshooting skills for addressing basic system issues
Network fundamentals involve understanding IP addressing (IPv4/IPv6), subnetting, device configuration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent job experience in related field
Relevant certifications such as ASIS PSP, CCNP Security, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Heavy lifting and use of ladders required.
Special Requirements
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance required. Active Secret clearance is preferred.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $109,695 - $137,145 + bonus + benefits.
