What to Expect in This Role
We are looking for a skilled Senior Phalcon Engineer with deep expertise in PHP and SQL to join our team. In this role, you will develop and optimize high-performance applications, ensuring scalability and reliability across our platforms. You will work with modern technologies such as Postgres and AMQ, contributing to cutting-edge fintech solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and have opportunities to mentor junior developers.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using PHP with a focus on the Phalcon framework.

Optimize database queries and manage efficient workflows with Postgres and SQL.

Implement messaging and integration solutions using AMQ.

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver robust, user-centric solutions that meet performance and security standards.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues to ensure system reliability.

Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and guidance on best practices.

Stay current with industry trends, leveraging new technologies to improve processes and solutions.
Requirements & Technical Skills
Mandatory Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in software development with PHP and strong expertise in SQL.

Hands-on experience with Postgres for database management.

Knowledge of messaging systems like AMQ.

Solid understanding of software development best practices, including clean code principles and testing methodologies.

Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering reliable solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:
