Squarespace is looking for an experienced People Partner (HRBP) to help us continue to scale our global business across Ireland, UK, Portugal, Australia and the Netherlands. Based in Dublin, you will collaborate with senior leaders and managers in all of these locations. In addition, you will partner closely with our People Ops and COE team members in Dublin to drive our newly established service delivery model to ensure our managers and employees are getting the right people support as we continue on our HR transformation journey. People are our #1 operating priority, and this individual will play a pivotal role in driving the people processes, programs, and services. Leveraging your deep knowledge of local markets and HR practices, you will help drive a high-performance culture across our diverse teams. This role requires a data driven HR professional with a strong focus on building trusted relationships and understanding the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to people managers and employees across all functions on performance management, talent development, organizational changes, and employee relations. 
  • Work autonomously while collaborating closely with functional People Partners, supporting specific departments to align efforts and support company-wide objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external legal counsel to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations for non-US employees across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Leverage proximity to international employees to surface actionable ideas, concerns, and opportunities to drive department and company objectives. Proactively share insights to inform and influence people's services and leadership decisions.
  • Identify and deliver insights on engagement, market trends, attrition, and other key workforce metrics to local leaders.
  • Analyze location-specific engagement metrics and lead the implementation of engagement and retention programs.
  • Utilize workforce analytics to identify trends and drive People strategies that align with business goals in partnership with People Partners.
  • Provide management training and coaching to ensure leadership alignment with organizational priorities.

Qualifications:

  • 8 - 10 years of progressive HR experience, including dedicated experience as an HR Business Partner partnering with senior leaders in international settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and labor regulations in a footprint similar to ours.
  • Experience in the tech industry, adept at supporting fast-paced, innovative teams.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategies that align department and company goals with organizational priorities, while successfully navigating complex, matrixed organizations across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
  • Demonstrated success in managing HR projects, employee relations, and talent initiatives, with a strong capacity to navigate complex challenges and deliver effective outcomes, while independently leading large-scale projects and fostering collaboration across stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, such as turnover rates, engagement metrics, performance trends, and workforce capabilities, to drive actionable insights and a comprehensive people strategy. 
  • Thorough understanding and interest of business operations with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational objectives, ensuring impact and measurable results.
  • Strong judgment, empathy, and data-driven decision-making, with the capacity to simplify complex issues and operationalize tailored, business-focused solutions.
  • Experience leading change initiatives to enhance team engagement, improve dynamics, and boost productivity.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, building relationships across all levels of leadership.
