You will be part of a regional people advisory team, ensuring that employees and managers get objective advice and collaborative problem solving that helps them address people issues with efficiency, empathy, and accountability. You will work closely with the People Business Partners (HR Business Partners) in collaboration with COEs within the people team. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your advisory, consulting, and business partnership skills.

Let's talk about the role:

This role supports our leaders and team members in Manufacturing in Johor Bahru. This position is based in Johor Bahru.

Responsibilities:

• Leaders and team members receive advice, counsel, and support on policies, processes, employment and labor laws, conflict resolution, change management, and development resources to promote a fair and equitable work environment.

• Partner with people (leaders and team members) on talent processes to ensure talent needs, diversity, equity, and inclusion considerations are met.

• Proactively manage employee relations cases, informing, consulting, and partnering with employment legal counsel as appropriate.

• Participate in building the capability of people, leaders, and team members through training, development, and coaching; keep teams up-to-date about upcoming learning and development initiatives.

• Collaborate with people and business partners on overall people strategies that support the culture, company direction, and business and employee growth needs.

• Working with the COEs to ensure the effective development and implementation of programs and tools to drive business goals and provide feedback on the implementation and utilization of tools.

• Get involved in creating and continually improving policies and processes.

• Understanding and ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements and ResMed code of ethics.

• Bachelor's Degree qualifications or business-related discipline

• Proven and solid experience in a HR advisor or HR generalist role

• Drives initiatives and is self-sufficient and capable of proactive communication with stakeholders.

• To attract and retain top talent, you must be able to build meaningful relationships in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating radical candor and a willingness to challenge with curiosity through deeper conversations with stakeholders.

• To be able to work well under pressure and be flexible in adapting and responding to changing situations; and the ability to deal with ambiguity with solution-focused thinking, driven by data, strong judgment, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills: ability to present, train, facilitate, influence, and negotiate

• High level of personal integrity and confidentiality

• Strong understanding of HR practices, including employment law and regulation

• Experience with an HRIS system is preferred; workday experience is preferred.

• Strong mediation and conflict resolution experience
