Job Description
Our new team member will provide expert services for employees, managers and HR community in the area of Payroll related data and processes, and act as a subject matter expert for these services. Services provided by this role mainly refer to second level (complex) Payroll processes, such as pre- and post PY-run activities, taxation and finance related activities (reconciliation, accruals, etc).
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support legally required processes in close collaboration with external payroll provider and authorities (e.g. tax provider)
- Support international tax assessments (supplementary tax payments and reimbursements)
- Provide support in international equity- and incentive-relevant statements and matters, ensure correct taxation and build accruals accordingly
- Initiate monthly salary payments in accurate and timely manner
- Extract reports needed for payroll and other reports upon request
- Close collaboration with FRA e.g. account reconciliation, accruals
- Act as a “point of contact” person and subject matter expert for employees, leaders and works council in Payroll related processes
- Assist in and contribute to cross country Payroll projects
- Keep Up to date in regards of legal changes
- Assess intercompany reimbursements and correct accounting for International Assignees
- Ensure correct taxation of gains, company cars, etc.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Relevant professional education, e.g. apprenticeship in business management or studies (Bachelor/Master degree in HR/Accounting/ Business or related field is preferred)
- Fluent in English, local language as optional (Czech or Slovak)
- 2-3 years professional experience in SSC environment with payroll/coordinating payroll and/or HR administration
- HRIS system (SAP or Workday) knowledge and experience preferred but not a must
- Work experience in international environment/team/global company is preferred
- Experience in other HR disciplines (e. g., Compensation & Benefits, Learning, etc.) is an advantage
- Ability to work effectively across all levels and layers of the organization and be comfortable working in a complex and rapidly changing work environment.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and sound judgement, in addition to high level attention to detail, analyzing information, thoroughness, general math and reporting skills is a must
