The Opportunity That Awaits You:

The Senior Payroll Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s payroll processes, including complex calculations, compliance with regulations, data analysis, and solving payroll issues. Requirements include being detail oriented, have a working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, be proficient in Excel and understand relevant US payroll regulations.

What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:

  • Responsible for the preparation and processing of semi-monthly payroll and out of sequence payroll, when needed, for multi-state US employees, Canada and International, including stock transactions, commissions, bonuses, and other payroll related 
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll
  • Reconcile 401k contributions and funds to employee accounts
  • Manage wage garnishments and other involuntary court-ordered payments in a timely manner
  • Work with HR team to aggregate employee data relating to new hires, terminations, salary changes and other payments during each pay period in order to accurately process payroll for that period
  • Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary (W-2, W-2c, etc.), including year end equity reporting
  • Maintain accurate record keeping for various state tax filings and new state setups on ADP in compliance with various state regulations
  • Analyze and verify payroll reports for accuracy prior to transmission through ADP
  • Provide prompt, friendly, and efficient customer service to employees who have questions regarding their pay, deductions, or the payroll process
  • Manage accounting/general ledger functions as it relates to payroll and compensation, including prepare journal entries, payroll accruals, and account reconciliations
  • Assist with SOX walk-throughs and provide audit support, as needed
  • Perform Ad hoc project(s), as needed, including but not limited to creating ADP reports, assisting with integration with other systems to streamline payroll processing
  • Maintains trained status for, and complies with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance
  • Understands and adheres to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management & EHS Policies

The Qualifications We Need You to Possess

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably with ADP experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from other internal groups
  • Ability to solve practical problems and drive process improvements

Work Authorization Status: Citizen / Permanent Resident

 

For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $117,000-125,000 per year.

Plus, eligibility for an annual bonus and equity/RSUs

PAY RANGE TRANSPARENCY

Procept is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

We’ll provide you training for, and ask you to maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance. We would also ask you to understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS policies.
