We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Partner Success Manager to join our Partnership GTM team, focused on managing and driving success within our AWS partnerships. This role will be responsible for building strategic relationship with AWS, enabling them to deliver value through our solutions, and driving joint business planning to achieve revenue and growth targets. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating large, complex organizations, aligning partnership goals with company objectives, and ensuring partner activation and sustained success.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with AWS Marketplace, co-sell teams, and partner sales managers (PSMs) to increase Gong’s presence in the AWS ecosystem.
  • Align Gong’s sales team with AWS to drive joint go-to-market (GTM) initiatives and account mapping efforts.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Gong and AWS stakeholders to maximize co-sell opportunities.
  • Enable Gong’s direct sales team to effectively leverage AWS Marketplace and AWS programs for deal acceleration.
  • Work with AWS to identify joint customers, uncover opportunities, and drive co-selling motions that result in revenue growth
  • Provide sales training and enablement on AWS Marketplace and its impact on Gong’s deals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to design AWS-specific campaigns, webinars, and events that drive awareness and pipeline.
  • Identify AWS-focused industry verticals and segments where Gong can expand its footprin
  • Work cross-functionally with RevOps, marketing, and product teams to optimize our AWS Marketplace listing and pricing strategy.
  •  Work with internal teams to streamline AWS Marketplace transactions and improve the buyer experience.
  • Track AWS-sourced and influenced pipeline and revenue, ensuring Gong maximizes AWS program incentives and credits.
  • Own partner success metrics, including pipeline sourced/influenced via AWS, AWS engagement levels, and revenue impact.
  • Responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in partner management, business development, or channel sales, with a focus on managing GSI relationships.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through large, complex partnerships
  • Strong understanding of SaaS and CRM solutions, with the ability to articulate technical value propositions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with experience engaging C-level stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and partner management tools
  • Ability to travel up to 30% to engage with AWS as needed.

The annual OTE for this position is $260,000 USD. 

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
