About The Role
We are looking for a Melbourne-based Senior Partner Account Manager to lead partnerships for the South Sales Territory which includes Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and New Zealand.
You will be responsible for the recruitment, development, nurturing and growth of partners within your sales territory. To succeed you will need to work closely with sales leadership, account executives, solution engineering, inside partner sales, partner services, sales operations and partner marketing with a goal to accelerate customer adoption of Cloudflare products and services via partnerships.
The key to success will be to grow Cloudflare's partner relationships, partner attach bookings, partner services, and partner initiated opportunities within your sales territory. To do this you will need to develop existing partnerships and profile, identify and onboard net new partnerships.
It is essential that you have established partner relationships and experience working with distributors and managed services partnerships, preferably in the technology and/or security and networking sector. You must be able to work independently to build a strategy and execute your plan by leveraging stakeholders both internally and externally. Travel will be required within your sales territoryaccording to demand to support partner development, meetings and pipeline generation.
Responsibilities

  • Partner Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with partner sales team(s) as well as Key Decision Makers and Influencers
  • Partner Recruitment: Identify, recruit, enable and manage net new partners
  • Enabling distribution and/or partners to be competent in Cloudflare to build sales and product competency
  • Establish and run operational cadences including account reviews, planning, pipeline review, marketing
  • Metrics for success include running quarterly business reviews, building pipeline and deal registration, and closed won partner booked business


Requirements

  • Experience working across Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and New Zealandmarkets
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years experience managing partners including partner recruitment experience
  • Experience working in the technology sector. Cybersecurity and/or Networking sector a bonus
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
