About the role
The Oversight Analyst position will be based in Luxembourg and will be part of the Client and Regulatory Operations team. You will report into the Conducting Officer for Finance, IT, Central Administration and Reporting, and will be part of a small team assisting the Conducting Officer in the oversight of group and third-party operations, including the oversight of Central administration, Transfer agency, Depositary and IT services.
Within this wider remit, you will have a role focusing specifically, but not exclusively, on fund accounting activities, linking in widely with other colleagues across IV COO and the rest of the Investments Vector. You will also contribute to monthly and quarterly report production and participate in cross-functional projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities

Support the evidencing of fund delegate oversight (Third party administrators, Transfer agents and Depositaries) including Intragroup services, to the required standard.

Review of KPIs from administrator, transfer agent, depositary bank

Work with others in the team to assist in performing due diligence on new and existing service providers and ongoing monitoring of relevant services in line with the requirements defined by the CSSF and utilising the Group approach to the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM framework).

Draft reports for Luxembourg Governance functions (Executive Committee & Management Company Board) and relevant fund boards.

Work with others in the team to co-ordinate Due Diligence responses and on-site inspections from Depository banks in line with regulatory requirements

Co-ordinate and review fund financial reports from intra-group teams

Work with others on the team to represent aILSA on group projects and cross functional initiatives.

Work closely with the IV COO Governance team on Intragroup oversight and with Compliance and Legal where required to ensure oversight is appropriate.

Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and best practice and use subject matter expertise on operational and oversight activities to ensure that these are done to a high standard, in line with regulatory and group expectations.
About the candidate

Experience of working with a management company or fund administrator.

Good knowledge of the local/EU regulations relating to UCITS and AIFS.

Fluent in English (knowledge of French or any other language helpful)

Good knowledge of financial markets, funds industry and Alternative Investment Funds

Ability to interact with stakeholders at multiple levels including relevant Boards and senior management.

Experience of supporting change/transformation initiatives

Ability to prepare & present papers for governance committees and board meetings.
