The Role
As a Senior Operations Manager - AI, you will design and own strategic initiatives to improve our student experience. In particular, you will lead our strategy to augment our coaches, instructors, and support staff, enabling them to deliver personalized attention to students at scale. Your work will be crucial in building products that maintain the quality of human interaction while serving an exponentially growing student base.
What You’ll Do

Define and execute our strategy to augment our coaches, instructors, and support staff, enabling them to deliver personalized attention to students at scale, including both operations, product, and AI-powered solutions

Lead and operationalize strategy for the support function at Stepful, ensuring our students get the support they need on a timely basis

Design and implement experiments to improve the efficiency of our coaches while maintaining student outcomes, identifying opportunities for improved processes and automation at scale.

Partner with product to identify, prioritize, test, and rollout solutions to streamline operations while maintaining quality

Own end-to-end projects, including revamping processes, scoping product features, and hiring student experience professionals.

Work cross-functionally with our product, learning, and engineering teams to provide visibility into students’ and student experience professionals’ feedback to help inform their product roadmaps.
This job is for you if:

You have 5+ years of consulting or business operations experience in a direct-to-consumer startup, preferably in an edtech or healthcare environment.

You are highly analytical, can optimize metrics, and successfully develop action plans to meet business goals.

Compensation
Base Salary: $140-160k
Equity: 0.04% - 0.06%
