The Senior Operations Administrator will provide daily management support to the Plant Manager and his/her staff and be a major resource for general information to all facility employees. This role will develop innovative solutions and new approaches to the operations department problems to determine the sequence of steps or processes required to meet the organization's standards of quality and cost.

Reports to: Plant Manager

Key Deliverables:

  • Maintain historical production data to ensure accurate benchmarking of facility performance
  • Act as communication lead for the facility and utilize various forms of media ensure messages are received
  • Assist in implementation of the Ingredion Performance System by attending critical meeting to keep minutes and provide leadership/customer perspective
  • Participate in ideation of plant improvement projects and serve as project manager as needed
  • Assist site leadership in developing strategies to adhere to company standards or develop local procedures that ensure implementation of the Ingredion Performance System
  • Serve as primary lead for business resource groups (BRGs) at the facility to aid in development of employee engagement
  • Collaborate with facility management to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities and define plans to implement actions.
  • Drive a data driven culture of continuous process improvement throughout the organization.   
  • Accept a broad range of assignments readily and maintain a professional approach
  • Work collaboratively with leadership to identify initiatives and establish priorities based on corporate, regional and site business objectives. 
  • Foster positive relationships with and between team members, plants, support functions and functional groups.
  • Lead cross functional teams and work effectively with all levels of the organization.

Knowledge, skills and requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in operations, technical, or a business role with focus on Continuous Improvement, Project Management or Reliability.
  • Bachelor’s degree is desired.
  • Knowledge of Corn Wet Milling a plus.
  • Capable of learning, leading and sponsoring a data-oriented environment with an emphasis on statistics, process improvement, and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a change agent.
  • Strong project management, presentation, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with strong leadership skills and a high degree of integrity.
  • Insightfully uses functional knowledge and experience to drive delivery of goals-team alignment.
  • Inspires and focuses the team to adapt to changing requirements while maintaining momentum.
  • Utilizes data and facts to articulate the need for change and build commitment from others.
  • Promotes continuous development in team and self.
  • Builds collaboration and trust among team members by delivering on commitments.
  • Ability to motivate and drive results in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.

Pay Range:

$67,520.00-$90,026.67 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
