How to contribute to our vision
The The Platform & Operational Readiness team lead the service preparation phase of all new offshore wind farms from SGRE’s global pipeline of new projects. They are responsible for ensuring that all new projects are ready for safe, compliant, and effective operations from day 1. This is achieved through standardised implementation of projects grounded in lessons learned, best practices, and the Service Execution Standard.
The Senior Operational Readiness Project Manager role is a newly created position within the global offshore POR department. It stems from the need for continued focus on standardising and improving the delivery of new offshore service projects. The Senior OR PM will act as the lead and focal point for standardisation projects within the department and as the point of contact for multi-department projects, where they will represent that POR department. They will support the Platform & Operational Readiness Program Manager with project management governance and quality assurance of the full portfolio of >20 projects in the operational readiness phase. This will be achieved through peer-to-peer coaching with Operational Readiness Project Managers, focused support to achieve critical readiness deliverables (ie supporting/delivering workshops, workstreams and escalations), and deputising for the POR Program Manager where necessary.
The Global Platform & Operational Readiness team are at the heart of SGRE’s pipeline of new offshore service projects, working on every project and new platform implemented globally. The POR team is a newly formed global team; therefore, the successful candidate can be located in any of the OF SV hubs: UK (flexible), Germany (Hamburg), Netherlands (Den Haag), France (Paris), Denmark (Brande), Taiwan (Taipei / Taichung), USA (Orlando). European locations are preferable for this role due to the concentration of projects and stakeholders. They should expect approximately 30% of travel in their role to project locations and SGRE / customer offices.
